INN TALKS...

FEMALE ARTISANS

FROM CRAFT TO ART, AND TRADE TO PASSION

TUESDAY 29TH OCTOBER

Do you love being surrounded by interesting and thought-provoking industry leaders?

The Paddo (G)Inn dining room will once again be transformed to host it's fifth open panel discussion led and hosted by experts in the elevated trade profession.

Our Inn Talks series kicked off in June and has been followed by sell-out events in July, August and September. We're now thrilled to announce this fifth event (and final for the year), with some extremely special guest speakers.

Come and enjoy a Hendrick's Midsummer Spritz and canapes while you network and mingle, before the open panel discussion and Q&A.

This month, our panel is made up of modern-day mistresses of their craft, artisans with a passion for channelling creativity through their trade and being brave with expression.

Inn Talks #5 is presented in partnership with Hendrick's Gin, and in support of Two Good.

Maison Balzac founder

ELISE PIOCH BALZAC

Created to evoke the memories of a childhood in the south of France, the MAISON BALZAC collection of objects captures the personality of the French Mediterranean. Each product tells a unique story, brought to life with the careful intervention of makers from Australia, France, Japan and Mongolia.

Passionate about interiors and perfumes, Elise launched MAISON BALZAC in July 2012 and was soon stocked by COLETTE in Paris, THE LINE in New York, 10 CORSO COMO in Milan and SELFRIDGES in London to name a few.

Brewer at Young Henrys

CARLA DAUNTON

Carla Daunton started off as an unhappy biochemist and science teacher before finding her way into the world of beer brewing. "I always enjoyed the science and engineering aspects of distilling and brewing, as well as the creativity and artistry. It's all of the best bits of science with none of the negatives that come with academic research." she says.

The first Young Henrys beers were brewed in March 2012. The idea behind them was pretty simple: brew beer their local community would enjoy and be proud to call their own. Not much has changed since. Carla, one of the few female brewers in Sydney, loves the Young Henrys team, "in particular it's the most positive work environment I've ever had. I am in the best crew of loving and hilarious people I consider my friends and I'm proud to work with them and for Young Henrys"
